Simon Best - Project Manager
Simon is based with the economic development team at Breckland Council and manages the REV ACTIVE project. He was previously a Senior Consultant at leading energy and climate change consultancy, AEA Technology plc, Regional Manager of Defra's Envirowise programme and Director of an SME.
Simon has been involved in business consultancy and support in the East of England since 2001, specialising in environmental auditing, training, environmental management systems, legal compliance and pollution control. He has a master's degree in Environmental Impact Assessment.

Jo Mysko - Technical Support Officer
Jo is the first point of contact within the team, explaining and marketing the project to businesses. She schedules visits/audits for the team's environmental experts.
Her role also covers complete document control and the upkeep of records. She is also responsible for scheduling board meetings and presentations.
Jo has worked for Breckland Council over the last 5 years, her previous work role covering Environmental Health issues.

Laura Dopping-Hepenstal - Resource Efficiency Facilitator
Laura is one of REV ACTIVE's specialist resource efficiency facilitators, providing expert advice to business. Laura carries out the resource efficiency audits, accumulating in a report of recommended actions, which she can then help the business to take forward.
With international experience in working with businesses and environmental associations, Laura comes to the REV Active project with a broad range of knowledge including waste management, project development, sustainable tourism and environmental conservation.
During her Masters in Sustainable Development Advocacy, Laura worked within businesses to assess their practices and deliver tailored, accessible and practical advice to address their needs. Since then, Laura has worked as a tutor in sustainable development, the editor of Cambridge City Councils recycling magazine, and as an advisor in waste management with the Eastex Materials Exchange.

Alder Tye - Senior Resource Efficiency Facilitator
Alder is one of the REV ACTIVE's resource efficiency facilitators (REF) responsible for delivering specialist assessments and advice to local businesses and coordinating the activities of the REF team.
A qualified environmental auditor, Alder has over 4 years experience in supporting businesses to improve their environmental performance and has a track record in helping these businesses achieve both cost savings and a reduction in their carbon footprints.
Alder is a graduate in Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia and has worked for the Norfolk County Council for the last 5 years.

Chris Handley - Resource Efficiency Facilitator
Chris is one of REV ACTIVE's specialist resource efficiency facilitators, undertaking environmental reviews for participating businesses. His key roles include identifying, quantifying, prioritising and communicating business opportunities and risks. He is also the Project's environmental technologies specialist.
Chris is a graduate in Biological Sciences and has an extensive background in sales and key account management.

Susan Smith - Financial Monitoring Officer
Susan is the Funding Support Officer within Economic Development and has been involved with a wide range of projects working with private business, community groups and charities and has over 10 years experience with all aspects of funding, procurement, monitoring and audit. Her areas of specialism include financial control and monitoring of EU and other external funding. Susan is the financial monitoring officer for the Project and also sits on the Project’s grants panel, undertakes visits and will advise and support grant recipients through the Project's grants process.

Mark Stanton - Head of Economic Development
Mark is Head of Economic Development for Breckland and South Holland District Councils. He was behind the concept and development of the REV ACTIVE project and is the Project Owner on behalf of Breckland Council. Formerly a small business entrepreneur Mark has an impressive track record in project delivery over the last ten years in attracting and delivering over £40 million of project value into Norfolk. He leads an award winning Economic Development Team at Breckland Council and is committed to service and project quality and the delivery of tangible benefits for the business, communities and the environment.

Lindy Warmer - Business Advisor
Lindy is a Senior Economic Development officer at Breckland Council and experienced business advisor. She carries out many of the initial business meetings and site visits. Lindy also sits on the Project’s grants panel and works with companies to help them plan for and implement the various cost- and carbon-saving recommendations made by the Resource Efficiency Facilitators.
